Made from one solid piece of red cedar your unit will measure approximately a spread of 22" and 20" long with a 5" diameter. Its legs and base have been beveled so that it sets flat and stable so your cats can climb, scratch, and crawl underneath it. The feather toys will sway and turn with the slightest air movement. If you place the scratcher where there is some air movement your kitty won't be able to resist it.
And, this scratcher has a mouse hole with mouse! Well, a ping pong ball that acts like a mouse. When youre kitty goes for the ball it rolls up and away then when she removes her paw from the mouse hole the ball comes back with a "pong" sound. The ball "mouse" can not be removed from its hole because the opening is smaller than the ball. Your cats will be fascinated by it and will not tire of trying to capture it. Style 2 Red Cedar Cat Scratcher with Mouse
This jumbo scratcher is crafted from eastern red cedar (also called aromatic red cedar). It is 100% natural, solid cedar, no particle board, plywood, carpet, adhesives, etc. It has not been sealed so it still releases a wonderful cedar scent.
Your unit will be approximately 34 inches long, with a trunk that is approximately 8 inches wide and 4 inches thick. This scratcher can be placed in the horizontal or vertical postion to give your cats some scratching variety. In the vertical position the beveled top will rest against a wall so that even the heaviest cat will not be able to push it over. The base and vertical bevel have felt pads to protect your floor and wall from being scratched.
